His 1st Birthday Party

Throwing a kid's party for the first time can be quite stressful. After googling how to throw a kid's birthday party and looking up for inspiration over the internet just a few months before my son's big day, I knew what birthday theme to go for. I got inspired by Wolf's first birthday cake, (son of Tammy Hembrow popular Instagramer known for her mom goals.) it looked so perfect and ideal for a little boy's first birthday. And I knew the right Cake Lady to re-create it. How beautiful is this cake ? Feel in love with this Tiffany&co signature colour, blue robin egg.

We did a Sunday Brunch Birthday Party like Bagels, Smoked Salmon , croissants, pasties, hot drinks and a Sweet Table for the kids.

From the cake it lead to the colour of the theme and decorations: Blue robin, grey, gold and white and few pastel colours. Bought most of the decorations at Party Mania and Dollarama.

My number one priority was to make sure that Pierce's friends are having a great time. So we thought about cool games like like Pin the tail the donkey, Piñata full of candies and toys, musical chairs. And surprise bags for the kids to take their goodies home.

Found beautiful flower head bands for the girls that fits the colour theme. 2 for 5$ at Ardene.

Custom made Cake by Angie from Bluming Gateaux. A friend from work referred me and since then she became my official cake lady. I first used her for my husband's Jack Daniel Theme Party. She did an amazing job that I wanted her to make my son's cake too. Check her out !

I decided to have the sweet table in the pink opera coloured room dinning room. I went pastel on the party decoration by sticking to the theme colour: Gold and blue robin egg.

His Birthday Party was a success. What really made me happy was hearing one of the kids say " Omg ! This is the best party eveeeer ! " Thanks Myriam :)
