Toddler bed time fun

My son absolutely hates sleeping in the crib. The crib for him is seen as a punishment and he knows how to climb out. I don't like the " let the him cry" technique. It just breaks my heart. We did the mistake of letting our toddler sleep with us in our king size bed. Now that we have a new born, we obviously want to do things by the book. It's time he sleeps in his room. We looked at toddler beds online. I obviously went on pinterest for inspiration and ideas and discovered something I'd never think about. The concept of a toddler floor bed. It's simple and trendy. I always wanted to get my son a teepee and finally got one thanks to my cool idea. I shopped online. There were so many to choose from. So I finally picked one by positive ratings , ordered it and received it the very next day. Delivery was fast and so easy and simple to set up. The quality is very good. I was really impressed and happy with my purchase. Also I got too excited and bought magical lights for the teepee. These lights are so beautiful and truly magical. They only require two double A batteries, no plug. These lights don't get hot so don't worry. And finally I put my son's crib mattress in the teepee to see how it looks and it looks awesome. I added his teddy bears and pillows so he feels cozy. He absolutely loves it ! He has this cool turtle plush that turns a dark room to starry lights with a shell that projects real constellations onto his bedroom ceiling and wall. Also it has bluetooth. I pair it with my phone to play soothing music that plays from the shell. This turtle is truly the best gift !
So does he sleep in his room ? Sometimes. He falls asleep in it and once in a while he wakes up in the middle of the night to sleep in our bed. We are still working on it. But he absolutely loves his teepee and everything in it !
